Andrew Rosener, a well known domainer, has proposed that https://www.thedomains.com/2017/07/18/namepros-member-questions-people-bidding-auctions-namejet/ if a domain is listed for sale with no reserve, that it is okay to bid on, yourself, to drive up the price.
This is completely wrong, and amounts to shill bidding – where someone with no intention of buying a domain bids on it, solely to drive up the price for other bidders. We are shocked that Drew would propose such a thing, and this means that since he has no opposition to such practice, he is probably shill bidding himself. Not good!
